QuietTube Do you hate all of the advertisements and comments around each YouTube video? So many times I've wanted to show a video, but am worried about what advertisement might pop up when I open the video in my classroom! Well, there's a solution! QuietTube will take away ALL of the advertisements, comments, etc so that you ONLY see the video! And it's incredibly easy to do! Click Here for a tutorial on how to use it! Click HERE to see a sample that I just created! You'll love the video too! =)
ViewPure will do the same thing as QuiteTube, but possibly even easier for some of you. View Pure will get rid of all advertisements or anything that is around the video so that you can show the video ONLY! Cool, huh? Click HERE to get to ViewPure and then simply enter the URL address for the YouTube video of your choice! Click HERE to see yet another example! =)
TubeChop I'm sure there are times that you have wanted to show a clip from a YouTube video without wanting to show the entire movie! TubeChop is a great tool for taking only the parts of the video that you NEED! You can show video clips that relate to your lessons without having to show more than a few minutes!
Just for fun! Turn of the Lights is a browser extension that you can use to focus on the video being played. It detects the video and darkens everything around the video so that you get the cinema feel while viewing your clip in class.
